The Design Exchange occupies the former stock exchange building. The original trading floor is the centrepeice of the facility and has undergone extensive renovations to return the space back to its original 1937 art deco design. This unique facility can accommodate up to 450 people for a sit-down event.

Politics of Fashion | Fashion of Politics Opening Reception

Design Exchange invites you to be among the first to experience the unveiling of Politics of Fashion | Fashion of Politics.

Guest curated by international fashion icon Jeanne Beker and DX curator Sara Nickleson, this exhibition explores how fashion is a mirror of society by highlighting how clothing has been used as a tool for communicating identity and political expression.

Get an exclusive look at the visionary works from the archives of Hussein Chalayan, Jeremy Scott, Moschino, PETA, RAD HOURANI, Christopher Raeburn and Jean Charles de Castelbajac that will be on view alongside items loaned by collectors of unique clothing by Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Jean Paul Gaultier, Stella McCartney, Mary Quant and Rudi Gernreich.

Get into the groove with Bellosound and be mesmerized by the arresting imagery by acclaimed photographer Nick Knight, while you eat, drink and celebrate with Design Exchange on September 17, 7-10 p.m.
